Department of Joint Replacement at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital is the first super specialty department in the city of Pune established 23 years ago. We conduct more than 3000 Joint replacement surgeries per year. We have a team of specialists, specialized in Joint replacement surgery with experience of worldwide renowned centers. We have a team of nine specialists along with two lecturers in the department.

Courses and training:

RCS TKR Hands-on course for doctors conducted Bi-annually – This course provides surgeons with essential theoretical knowledge and practical experience in basics of knee replacement surgery skills. We provide training on saw bones under the guidance of well known and experienced faculty. It involves video demonstrations and Hands-on trainings for the Arthroplasty surgeons

Events:
Arthroplasty Summit held once a year – We conduct a lower limb arthroplasty instructional course annually with National & International faculty. This course focuses on newer advances in this ever evolving field with strong emphasis on principles, helping the arthroplasty surgeons in understanding and performing complex procedures in knee and hip replacement. The aim of this course is to stay updated on the best practices in joint replacement and revision surgeries.
