ONCOSURGERY

PROCEDURE:

This is the list of surgeries performed in the Oncosurgery unit

• Breast:
  Breast conservative surgery, reconstruction, oncoplasty, sentinel node biopsy, mastectomy
• Surgery for head and neck cancer:
  wide excision, mandibulectomy, marginal mandibulectomy, maxillectomy, different types of neck dissections and reconstructions with locoregional flaps and free-flap reconstruction.
• Colorectal cancer:
  Open and laparoscopic right and left hemicolectomy, abdomino-perineal resection, Low anterior resection with or without diversion colostomy.
• Gynaecological cancer:
  Open and laparoscopic surgery for endometrial and cervical cancer,
  Surgery for ovarian cancer:
  primary or interval cytoreductive surgery.
• Esophageal cancer:
  Thoraco-laparoscopic total esophagectomy, transhiatal esophagectomy, Partial esophago-gastrectomy by left thoracoabdominal approach
• Stomach cancer:
  Distal, proximal and total radical gastrectomy including lymph node clearance.
• Surgery for retroperitoneal tumours and soft tissue tumours.
• Lung cancer:
  Lobectomy, bilobectomy and pneumonectomy
• Surgery for thymic and mediastinal tumours.
• Thyroid cancer:
  Hemithyroidectomy and total thyroidectomy
