Dr. Anirudha Page, M.S. (Ortho)(Mum), Joint Replacement Fellow (USA), graduated from B.J. Medical College and Sassoon Hospitals, Pune in 1999. He completed his post graduation in M.S. (Orthopedics) from the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai in 2006.
From the days of residency training in Orthopaedics, he developed a profound interest in the care of patients undergoing joint replacement surgery. He worked and trained with Dr. Pradeep. B. Bhosale, his postgraduate guide who is an eminent joint replacement surgeon in Mumbai.
Further, he worked as a clinical and research fellow with Dr. Arun B. Mullaji, a leading joint replacement surgeon in India at Breach Candy and Lilavati Hospitals, Mumbai. Here he got the opportunity to improve his skills in joint replacement surgery. He also co authored a chapter titled “Complications of Total Knee Arthroplasty” which was published in an orthopedic textbook.
Later, he worked as assistant professor in Orthopedics at D.Y. Patil Medical College, Mumbai. He has a good experience of teaching graduate & postgraduate students.
In order to serve Indian patients better with the latest technologies and advancements in joint replacement surgery, he went to the United States, for further studies and to receive super specialty training in joint replacement. During his fellowship training at Houston, Texas he handled a wide variety of primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgeries.
He firmly believes in ethical practice and evidence based Orthopedics.
He completed his ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) training in 2013 – 2014 and is a certified ATLS instructor. He has guided many doctors as faculty with ATLS India.
He is currently working as a Joint Replacement surgeon at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, in Pune.
