In allergy clinic we do allergy tests to diagnose various aeroallergens, food allergens, contact allergens, insect bites, etc., especially in severe cases of asthma, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, various skin allergies including eczema and urticaria. Autologous serum skin test is done to diagnose autoimmune urticarias.

We also do patch tests for allergic contact dermatitis to various dyes, footwear, cosmetics, jewellery, drugs etc.

Drug allergy tests in the form of skin prick test, intradermal test and patch test are done. Once the drug allergy is confirmed and it is a lifesaving drug then we also offer desensitization to that drug.

Once allergy diagnosis is done, we offer extensive counselling to the patient and their relatives regarding avoidance measures, offer latest treatment and immunotherapy, which is the only cure for some of the allergies.
