“I always get a vomiting sensation. Once I start menstruation, I get excessive bleeding. Also, my ear is damaged. It’s been around a year since I have not attended school. I want to learn. I want to do work and earn money. But, my health is not allowing me to even complete my studies,” said Varsha.
Since her diagnosis, she has been receiving treatment in DMH, including blood transfusions as and when required. This treatment is given to her free of cost by Charity Department of Hospital. Now she needs Bone Marrow Transplant. The estimated cost of this treatment is approximately Rs.10 lakhs.
Her mother is working as a cleaner in a government school. Varsha has one younger brother. Mother is the only bread earner of my family. Whatever she earn gets spent on our daily basic needs. They do not have any property. She want to give Varsha a healthy and long life. She wish to appeal to all to donate whatever they can to save my ailing daughter’s life.
Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital Charity Department is expecting Rs 3.0 lakhs from Prime Minister and Chief Minister’s Fund. Since her diagnosis, she has been receiving treatment in DMH, including transfusions as and when required. This treatment is given to her free of cost by Charity Department.”
We on behalf of her mother have started a fundraising campaign for the surgery. They appeal to everyone to donate generously for her surgery.
