Details of Charity done in Year 2008

Hospital has allocated few beds in the hospital as free beds and consultants are encouraged to perform free surgeries of poor patients.

 

Poor patients or non affording patients are provided either concessional or free treatment as recommended by Medical Social Worker and Consultants.

Partial Concession to Indoor Patients :

Senior citizens, patients coming from orphanages, old age homes are given generous concessions.  Also any walk – in patient from general ward is considered for concession based on the recommendation of the social worker.  As such about 10000 patients were offered some concession amounting to Rs. 5 Crore.
 
Camps for Patients :
All medical departments take initiative in arranging camps when expert consultation is available at free of cost & diagnostic services are provided at concessional rates.  Various camps organised in the year 2008 include:
